Sr Muhammad Faisal is a graduate of Quantity Surveying from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), registered with BQSM and a member of RISM. He brings over 22 years of contract management, commercial strategy and quantity surveying experience across the full construction cycle, from subcontracting and main contracting to consultancy and project management under PDP arrangements.
His portfolio spans infrastructure, rail, highways, buildings, industrial and healthcare. He has held key commercial roles on Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak, NKVE Fourth Lane Widening and GS10-LRT3, overseeing cost control, contract administration and variation governance.
He has represented the Government of Malaysia on complex contractual reviews, including UEM Group’s claims for the Second Penang Bridge and MMC Gamuda JV’s claims for the Ipoh–Padang Besar Electrified Double Track Project. In buildings and healthcare, he led the basement car park remeasurement audit at Sime Darby Medical Centre, managed Lucentia Residences at BBCC for EcoWorld, housing at Bandar Tiram 3, and upgrades for KPJ Bandar Dato’ Onn and KPJ Maharani hospitals.
Prior to joining Irama Duta, he played a key role in restructuring and strengthening the Commercial & Contract Department as Head of Contract & Commercial at Tg. Langsat Development Sdn. Bhd., which is currently transitioning under the JCorp Group as JLG Buildworks.
He joined Irama Duta Sdn. Bhd. in April 2025 and now leads the Commercial Department, overseeing procurement, contract administration and cost management to ensure the successful delivery of high-value projects in line with the company’s strategic and financial objectives.
